A 33-year-old man, Mario Antoine, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly tricking dozens of women into having s*x with him under the guise that they were rehearsing for pornos.

Antoine who had previously been convicted of posing as a wedding photographer to scam to-be-couples faces a 21-count indictment accusing him of “auditioning” and recording dozens of victims in the Kansas City. He also allegedly googled terms like “rape by deception”, “rape by deception Kansas” and “illegal to trick girls into sleeping with you”. Federal officials say he came up with the plan to pose as a porn producer and trick dozens of women into having s*x with him while he recorded it, footage which he used to extort the women later.

Antoine is accused of posing as a talent manager, photographer, and cinematographer for overseas porn producers with names like “Dash Agency” or “Playboy Asia”. His victims would be contacted on Facebook by someone named “Nikki,” who would ask them if they were interested in adult modeling. Once they agreed, he would contact them with an alias like “Mario Sixstring” and invite them to his home. Antoine is also accused of forging documents like contracts, checks, and tax forms to make his business seem realistic.

He reportedly promised women tens of thousands of dollars for performing in porn movies, but first he had to prove that they were good on camera (by having s*x with him) with an upfront payment for the audition, and then a bigger payday once the actual film was made.

However when the women complain about not being paid, he’ll threaten to send the pictures and videos to their employers or partners.

According to the Department of Justice, a victim was told she had to choose between paying $9,000 or having s*x with him to prevent him from selling the images; she ended up having s*x with him. Another victim had images sent to her employer after she complained about payment. And a third victim claims he sent the pictures to her boyfriend, with a text saying “she does porn.”

Antoine faces 12 counts of wire fraud, two counts of cyber-stalking, two counts of online enticement, two counts of making false statements to federal law enforcement agents, one count of obstructing justice, one count of extortion and one count of falsely registering a domain name. This isn’t the first time Antoine has been accused of fraud as in 2013, he was convicted of posing as a wedding photographer and collecting money from clients money before not showing up on the wedding day. He had just been released from prison a month ago.
